01/08/2014 “Georgian Water & Power” awarded the winner of bloggers competition
Georgian Water & Power company awarded today the winner of bloggers competition George Urushadze, who participated in the special competition under the title of “Drinking water in Tbilisi taps.” The best article meeting to the foolest degree the requirements and criteria of the Georgian Water & Power competition was decided by a competent jury consisting of the company’s specialists http://teennewson.wordpress.com/2014/07/16/ukacravad-magram-chems-onkanshi-qloriani-wyali-modis/
Ten active bloggers took part in the competition, created original blog posts on the specific topic – “The system of Tbilisi water supply and quality of drinking water supplied to Tbilisi”, uploaded on their blogs and provided daily promotion of the topic by sharing it on their pages within 10 days since the publication.
Georgian Water & Power company arranged an informational tour for the group of bloggers prior to the blog-posts creation in order to answer their questions as to from where and how safely Tbilisi is supplied water, how raw water is treated and filtered, how drinking water is made as a product, how safe is tap water consumption, how reliable is drinking water quality control and whether or not it is compliant with the world standards. The bloggers were briefed on water supply system operation and purpose. The competition participants visited such important facilities of Tbilisi water supply as water quality controlling Central Laboratory, headworks in Tbilisi and Aragvi gorge and Zhinvali hydraulic complex.
