20/10/2014 Georgian Water and Power is one of the winners among 8 teams who participated in the first round of „Silver League“
One of the matches of the first round of business champions “Silver League” ended by victory of football team of GWP with the score of 6:5. The match was held yesterday in Jemal Tsertsvadze handball academy between GWP and VTB Bank 2.
According to the tournament organizers’ decision the forward of GWP Giorgi Aptsiauri was awarded the title of best player of the first round of Silver League matches.
The teams representing 14 companies competed in the first round. Based on the results 8 best teams including GWP will continue to fight for the champion’s title in the playoff. The remaining 6 teams will be leveled down into the “Bronze League.” Next matches of the tournament will take place at the end of the current week.
The business champions “Silver League” 2014-2015 season matches started from 19 October.
