23/06/2015 Special Statement of “Georgian Water & Power“
“Georgian Water & Power“ made a new engineer-technical decision in relation with the sewage network near Tskhneti street. Since according to information of corresponding service the restoration of the road and renewed sewage network requires about 30 days, the company will temporarily arrange a mini local treatment plant to stop polluted waters discharge in Vera River. The sewage collector will be reinstated upon the treatment works’ completion.
“Georgian Water & Power“ is also pointing out, that no polluted waters are being discharged near the territory where the volunteers are working at the moment.
“Georgian Water & Power“ reminds the population that drinking water supplied to the residents of Tbilisi has nothing in common with the water of Vera River, as the capital city is supplied potable water from Aragvi gorge.
