08/10/2015 Preparation for winter season started at Georgian Water and Power Company
Georgian Water and Power Company has started preparation for winter season. To this end the Company is planning to take several technical measures by the end of November.
Georgian Water and Power Company will gradually perform preventive and rehabilitation works to ensure uninterrupted water supply of the capital city in winter. Along with various measures taken to deliver stability of the system the Company will install additional control valves in the water supply networks.
The above-mentioned works are scheduled for October and November. In case if any of the specific measures lead to the water supply discontinuation in any of the districts or streets of Tbilisi the population will be notified in advance as via mass media as individually by SMS notifications, Company’s Facebook page or website.
