30/12/2015 Companies of Georgian Water and Power, Rustavi Water and Mtskheta Water warn the metered residential customers against the likelihood of frost
The customers of Tbilisi, Rustavi and Mtskheta are required to take into consideration the following recommendations and instructions in view of the likelihood of frost in winter season, especially from 1 through 5 January, 2016, in order to prevent freezing of water supply system and metering points:
it is desirable that the residential customers using the meters make coldproof the water supply networks and metering points installed on the surface or in open space. It is also recommended to leave the taps opened with just small water spray;
on the above-mentioned dates GWP, RWC and MWC will adjust upon the request of each customer the excessively billed cost of water.
The population of upper zone of Tbilisi and those customers, who are exposed to the likelihood of the service lines’ freezing are asked to necessarily take into account the company’s recommendations.
