25/09/2015 Traffic from Vakhushti Bagrationi bridge to Davit Khipiani street will be resumed tomorrow evening
The road section from Vakhushti Bagrationi bridge to Davit Khipiani street will be opened in few days. As City Hall was informed the depreciated and obsolete networks had been rehabilitated in Vakhushti Bagrationi street. New hub wells were arranged on the replaced networks and corresponding diameter multipurpose new valves were installed. Total length of the replaced water supply networks is 700 meters.
Further, according to their information after replacing underground facilities the section of road from Vakhushti Bagrationi bridge to Davit Khipiani street was covered with two-layer asphalt. The pavements and road edgings are also being trimmed. Second layer of asphalt will be laid on the above-mentioned section of the road tomorrow.
The underground facilities replacement and road cover rehabilitation works are being jointly performed by Didube District Administration and Georgian Water and Power Ltd.
